Incident#39 12/06/16

Whilst out on the River humber on a training exercise Humber Rescue where tasked by HMCG at 11.28am to the sighting of a deer swimming in the water west of the Humber Bridge. Although Deers are excellent swimmers it was entering dangerous waters through the shipping channel where commerical vessels would be taking advantage of the tidal flood down the estuary.
It was decided to usher the deer towards the North Bank of the Humber towards safety, where on reaching the shore, sprung out of the water and ran into the woodland to relative safety.
